A Mile Away is just that! Just a mile away from county boat ramp and Beautiful Carrabelle Public Beach Park and less than 3 miles to local restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. This cute and cozy 2BR/1BA guest house sits privately behind the main house which is occupied by the homeowners. This unit will sleep 6 maximum with a queen in the master bedroom and a queen and twin bunk beds (not pictured at the moment) in the guest bedroom. Bathroom is shared by both rooms and features a large walk-in shower. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make a home cooked meal, weber charcoal grill, and seating for 7 at the dining table. Cozy living room with plenty of board games for those rainy days. Screened in porch perfect for enjoying evenings outdoors without the hassle of bugs. Room for parking vehicles and boat.

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children) and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve. Various activities are available including Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, birding, cycling paths across the road and guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs. There are a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Also close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course designed by Robert Walker. The St. Marks
Wildlife Refuge is a great outing for the entire family. Located a little over an hour from Tallahassee and only twenty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola, this retreat can be tailored to your own adventurous spirit.
